India Arie Net Worth is $4.5 Million India Arie Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
India.Arie (born India Arie Simpson; October 3, 1975) is a Grammy Award-winning American singer songwriter, musician, and record producer. She’s sold over 3.3 million records in the US and 10 million globally. She’s won four Grammy Awards from her 21 nominations, including Best R&B Album.
Arie released her debut album Acoustic Soul on March 27, 2001. The record was met with favorable reviews and commercial success. Within months, minus the targeted radio airplay that normally powers pop and rap records, Acoustic Soul was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling 2,180,000 copies in the U.S. and 3,000,000 copies globally. The record was also certified Gold by the British Phonographic Industry and platinum by Music Canada. The record was marketed with all the launch of the lead single Video. Video achieved commercial success peaking at forty seven on the United States Billboard Hot 100 and becoming her highest charting song in the area to date. The records second single Brown Skin did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100, but it became her highest charting single in the UK, peaking at number 29. Arie performed a duet with rock vocalist-guitarist John Mellencamp to the tune “Peaceful World” for his 2001 record Cuttin’ Heads. While Arie as well as the record were nominated for seven Grammy awards in 2002, they won no awards, losing in five of seven classifications to Alicia Keys. She closed the service using a performance of her song “Video”. And topped the Top R&B/Hip Hop Records, going Platinum by the RIAA.
