Memphis Bleek Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018

He’s released four records during his career (all of which went Gold), and had intended to release “The Procedure” in 2011, even though the record has not yet been finished. Memphis Bleek was among the very first artists signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, as protg to longtime pal, Jay-Z. Following the enormous success of Hard Knock Life as well as the exposure of the Roc A Fella camp, (a Memphis Bleek track off the aforementioned Jay Z record, “It Is Alright”, really charted on Billboard), the label released Memphis Bleek’s debut album, Coming of Age. The name “Memphis”, which the rapper clarified to pay court to pimps, was an acronym for “Making Easy Cash, Pimping Hoes In Fashion”. He’s released 3 more albums since his debut, The Comprehension, M.A.D.E., and 534 (all of which went Gold) . Between the release of The Comprehension and M.A.D.E., he took a three year hiatus, in which time he took care of his older brother, who was severely injured in a bike mishap. You’ll find just three important notes to take from the record 534, that was named following the building number where Memphis and Jayz grew right up in the Marcy Projects. First, it was the initial release in the “new” Roc-A-Fella Records, referring to Jay Z becoming President of Def Jam. It was also the primary official Def Jam record by label mate turned international star, Rihanna, on the tune “The One”. Not only that, this record marks where Jay Z released his first tune since starting his short “retirement”. The tune was called “Dear Summer”, in reference to what Jay phoned the time of the entire year when he’d lose a classic record or single every year for 8 straight years, and how he’d to metaphorically leave “her”, Summer.
