Justin Tyler Berfield (created February 25, 1986) is an American actor, writer and producer, famous for his portrayal as Malcolm’s second-oldest brother, Reese, in “Malcolm in the Middle”. As of 2010, Berfield is Chief Creative Officer of Virgin Made, a picture and television development, packaging, and production firm declared in 2010 from the Virgin Group. Virgin Produced is located in La, California.

He went to appear in 20 other nationally-program American advertisements as a young kid. His TV debut came in the short lived show The Good Life (1994) in which he costarred with Drew Carey. More TV appearances followed in Hardball, The Boys Are Back, The Mothers (1994–1995). His first long-running TV character was as Ross Malloy in Unhappily Ever After (1995–1999), where he notched up 100 episode appearances. Starting in 2000 he gained international prominence with his character as Malcolm’s problem-making old brother Reese in Malcolm in the Middle. Since the ending of Malcolm in the Middle in 2006, Berfield has concentrated on production work, although he made a one off appearance in the show Sons of Tucson in 2010.
