Vincent Lamar Wilfork (created November 4, 1981) is an American football defensive tackle for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Miami. He was drafted by the Patriots in the initial round (21st overall) in the 2004 NFL Draft. Wilfork is regarded as among the highest defensive tackles in the NFL, and was named both to the Pro Bowl as well as the All-Pro team in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

The Patriots drafted him with the 21st overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. In his rookie season with the Patriots, he compiled two sacks, 27 tackles, and three deflected passes. He saw considerable playing time during his rookie season, and helped the Patriots get back to the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles in February, 2005.
