Grete Stern (9 May 1904 – 24 December 1999) was a German (later nationalized Argentine) photographer. Along with her husband, they were active agents of modernization process of visual arts in Argentina: as an example, she presented the first exhibition of modern photographic art in Buenos Aires in 1935.
