She’s composed 29 novels, which have appeared on “The New York Times” bestsellers list. In total, her novels have sold over 500 million copies and have been translated into 40 languages. Eight of her novels are adapted for the screen, either as movies or television mini-series. She’s the younger sister of actress Joan Collins.
In 2010, Paris Connections, a direct-to-DVD film adapted from Collins’ L.A. Connections collection of mini-novels was made by Amber Entertainment in association with the UK supermarket chain Tesco. Collins served as co-producer, and three more Links pictures using the Madison Castelli character are planned. Although Collins had said on her official web site that there would most likely be no more Lucky Santangelo novels after Drop Dead Beautiful, in 2011 she released the seventh novel in the collection, Goddess of Vengeance. Additionally according to her official web site, she’s now writing a play entitled Jackie Collins’ Hollywood Lies. Collins’s 29th novel, titled The Power Trip, was released in September 2012. Collins latest novel, Confessions of a Wild Child, was released in September 2013. It’s prequel to her popular Santangelo show and chronicles the adolescent years of Lucky and her brother Dario.

I have all of that now. Why would I want to hook myself up with one man when I've had two fantastic men in my life? One was my husband for 20 years and one was my fiance for six years.

I've written five books since the diagnosis [for stage 4 breast cancer], I've lived my life, I've traveled all over the world, I have not turned down book tours and no one has ever known until now when I feel as though I should come out with it.
