# Quote 1 (on current male film stars) Think about a guy like Bob Mitchum, with his kind of chest gut not defining itself one way or the other. Was there anybody tougher? Lee Marvin was a marine sniper during the Second World War. They had this sense of themselves, and they had this product of being a man in a masculine way. I think that's why Liam Neeson is experiencing this renaissance at sixty years old, because we've run out of that ilk, man. We don't have 'em anymore. I can count 'em on one hand.
# Fact 1 Used to move furniture for living. He did this for 8 years. 2 Is a fan of the legendary English soccer team Manchester United, aka 'The Red Devils'. 3 Was hired to direct Mission: Impossible III (2006) but left the project. 4 Usually uses Mauro Fiore as the director of cinematography for his recent films (Ticker (2002) and Smokin' Aces (2006)). 5 Frequently uses rap stars as actors in his movies: Busta Rhymes was in Narc (2002) and Alicia Keys and Common were in Smokin' Aces (2006). 6 For a small time, was a student of George Maguire (Fight Club (1999), Leonard Part 6 (1987)). 7 Considered a legend in the theatre and film community in his Hometown of Fairfield, CA. Several Plaques are hung in the Film dept of Solano Community College where his journey to greatness began. 8 Is the brother of Matthew Michael Carnahan . 9 Named among Fade In Magazine's "100 People in Hollywood You Need to Know" in 2005. 10 Worked in the promotions department at Channel 31 in Sacramento, California. 11 Graduated from Fairfield High School, Fairfield, California in 1987.
