Jordan Robert Farmar (created November 30, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In high school, he was named the “Los Angeles Times” High School Player of the Year in 2003–04. Playing for UCLA in school, he was the Rivals.com National Freshman of the Year in 2004–05. Farmar was chosen 26th complete in the very first round of the 2006 NBA draft from the Los Angeles Lakers. He played for them from 2006 to 2010, winning two straight NBA championships in 2009 and 2010.
