Daryl Hall Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Daryl Franklin Hohl, professionally generally known as Daryl Hall (created October 11, 1946) is an American rock, R&B and soul singer, keyboardist, guitarist, songwriter and producer, best known as the cofounder and lead vocalist of Hall & Oates (with guitarist/songwriter John Oates).
Hall scored several Billboard chart hits in the 1970s and early 1980s, and is considered as among the greatest soul singers of his generation. Guitarist Robert Fripp, who collaborated with him in the late 1970s and early 1980s, has composed, “Daryl’s pipes were a wonder. I’ve never worked using a more capable vocalist.” Since late 2007, he’s hosted the internet television show, “Live From Daryl’s House.” He was inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2004.
Signed to Atlantic by Ahmet Ertegun and managed by Tommy Mottola in the early 1970s, Hall & Oates have sold more records than just about any other couple in music history. The duet recorded one more album with Atlantic, War Babies (created by Todd Rundgren), before they were dropped and quickly signed to RCA. Throughout their tenure at RCA the couple catapulted to international superstardom. The couple were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014.
