Damian Robert Nesta “Jr. Gong” Marley (created July 21, 1978), is a Jamaican reggae musician. Damian is the youngest son of reggae icon Bob Marley. Damian’s nickname “Junior Gong” is derived from his dad’s nickname of “Tuff Gong.”
The presence of SuperHeavy was secret until May 2011. Mick Jagger, English musician as well as the lead vocalist of rock band The Rolling Stones, announced its creation on 20 May 2011. SuperHeavy was Dave Stewart’s thought. Stewart and Jagger had common liking for Indian orchestrations; hence, A. R. Rahman was added to the super group. The name of the group can be said to be inspired by Muhammad Ali. The group started recording their self-titled debut record in early 2009 at a studio in La. They recorded around 35 hours of music, with a few tunes initially continuing “an hour and 10 minutes” before they were whittled down. The record was previewed at Jim Henson Studios, La, on 30 June 2011. The group played eight of the recorded tunes in the big event. “Miracle Worker” was launched on iTunes as the record’s lead single on 7 July 2011. This is a reggae tune performed by Marley, Stone and Jagger. The single entered at number 195 on the united kingdom Singles Chart. The music video premiered on YouTube on 12 August 2011. Damian additionally worked with electronic artist Skrillex on a tune called “Make It Bun Dem” in 2012. This tune also appears in the 2012 match Far Cry 3.
