Charles F. Wheeler Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Charles F. Wheeler (born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 15, 1915; died in Orange, California on October 28, 2004) was an American cinematographer. He did much of his work for Walt Disney. In 1970 he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography; along with Osami Furuya, Sinsaku Himeda, and Masamichi Satoh; for Tora! Tora! Tora!. He had also been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Babe, a biopic about Babe Zaharias. He died in 2004 after developing Alzheimer's disease.
Spent most of his life in Los Angeles, where he played polo for University of Southern California. He happened into his first job, as an apprentice cameraman for Disney, after meeting Walt and Roy Disney at a polo field.
