Tony Jimenez (born December 1962 in Brixton, London, England) is of Spanish nationality, resident in Cyprus and Dubai.An international businessman, he was formerly a Vice President for Newcastle United F.C. He has been involved in a series of business ventures including property, hotel and golf course developments in Spain, France, Cyprus, and Dubai, including Les Bordes.Jimenez known for hosting and supporting events around the world such as the annual Limassol Golf charity tournament and the Les Bordes memorial event, as well as attending others such as the Al Naboodah Golf charity event held on Al Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in which Jimenez finished 8th in 2011.A close friend of former Seville boss Juande Ramos, Jimenez hosted a meeting at his home in Seville where Daniel Levy, Paul Kemsley and other Spurs directors and Ramos met to discuss a possible move to Tottenham. Jimenez was instrumental in convincing his friend to accept the deal and brought Ramos over from Spain to become the new boss at Tottenham. The Spanish press at the time also reported how Jimenez had been a close associate of Gino Pozzo, the owner of Udinese Football Club.Jimenez is not an agent but has football knowledge and extensive international contacts in the game including owners, managers and players.In 2004/05 Jimenez was listed as Vice-President of E8NIKOS AXNAS playing their football in the Cypriot Premier League.
