Produced Casey Myers, he’s the son of the La socialite and philanthropist Lynne Wasserman and Jack Myers (previously Meyerowitz). He’s married to film music supervisor Laura Ziffren. Exactly the same year which he bought the football team, Casey Wasserman began Wasserman Media Group, a sports marketing and talent management firm, of which he remains CEO. In 2002, Wasserman got the sports promotion and naming rights business Envision as well as the action sports promotion and representation business The Familie, located in Carlsbad, CA. In 2004, they bought 411 Productions as well as several months after relaunched it as Studio 411, a sports entertainment film studio. The company was made to offer funding, get sponsorships and organize distribution in support of first creations. In January, 2006 Wasserman Media Group obtained the NBA and MLB sports agent work of Arn Tellem a well known sports agent who joined Wasserman Media Group at the same time. Several of Tellem’s sports agent co-workers also joined Wasserman Media as a portion of the deal. Tellem is now a principal in the organization and runs among the very successful management groups available. In November 2006, the organization obtained a top football service, SFX, in great britain. In June 2007, Wasserman Media Group expanded its consulting and media and property abilities by buying Raleigh, NC-based OnSport. In early 2011, Wasserman continued its international growth together with the acquisition of London-based media rights supervisor and advisory business Reel Enterprises. Wasserman enlarged its golf talent roll by acquiring SFX Golf in April 2011.
