Anna Sten left Hollywood for a vacation during pre-production on The Wedding Night (1935). The production team still needed to work on costume and lighting tests, so they hired Moody to stand-in. Moody's height and coloring were reportedly so close to Sten's that the production was able to get everything done before Sten returned for filming.
