Lewis is the latest undisputed heavyweight champion. He is 6’5 and weighs 257 pounds. Finally, nevertheless, Lewis settled on his favourite sport, boxing, and immediately became an skilled pugilist. At 18, Lewis represented Canada in the 1984 Summer Olympics and made it all the solution to the quarter finals where he lost to the eventual gold medalist Tyrell Biggs. Rather than turning professional after the Olympics, like a lot of his peers, Lewis chose to remain in the amateur ranks for another four years to get a return shot at Olympic gold. Shortly later, Lewis moved back to England to begin his professional career. In 1990 Lewis won the European heavyweight title as well as the British title in 1991.
In 1992 Lewis leapt onto the planet stage by knocking Donovan “Razor” Ruddock to become the No. 1 competitor in the WBC rankings. He’d continue to conquer Mike Tyson in 2002 in the highest grossing occasion in pay per view history to that particular point. Lewis retired in 2004. Lewis concluded his career with 41 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. He’d continue to appear in films and television. Lewis is married to a former Miss Jamaica runner up and they have four kids.

Quote
1
I always ask myself why old heavyweights come back, but I plan to stay out of the ring. I've got a new life now, a new future, there's a lot more to Lennox Lewis than just being a boxer. I am very sure about my decision.
2
I was looking at retirement a couple of fights ago, but then was thinking 'shall I have one more fight?' That's the drug of the sport, there's always one more fight. There has to be a time when I can gracefully bow out. If I don't feel the same hunger as I once did then I definitely shouldn't box any more.
3
In boxing you create a strategy to beat each new opponent, it's just like chess.
4
I am the master of the sweet science. There is not one heavyweight who can match my skill.
5
Hashim Rahman was going to knock me out. Hashim Rahman was going to end my career. Hashim Rahman was going to humiliate me. He needs to change his name to Has-Been Rahman now!
6
Mike Tyson it's time to put up or shut up!
