Phillip P. Keene (born September 5, 1966) is an actor. He is mostly known for playing Buzz Watson on the TV series The Closer and Major Crimes. He is fluent in Spanish and German.His first film was Role of a Lifetime. Before acting, he went to UCLA and studied history/art history. He also has a piloting license.He is married to James Duff, creator of The Closer and Major Crimes.
Was a flight attendant with Pan Am before the company stopped operating, and saved his uniform, forms, luggage tags, and more, and continued collecting Pan Am memorabilia after his employment ended, building a major collection, which was showcased in "Welcome Aboard: The Pan Am Experience" as part of Palm Springs, California's annual Modernism Week last February 2013. He explains "When we shut down, I had my uniform and my forms and my luggage and I was still in love with the company, and wanted to continue thinking about it." He started by collecting advertisements, and over time branched out "When more pieces came up, and I had a little bit more ready cash I bought lighters and ashtrays and dishes and it just kept growing.
