Daniel William "Dan" Clancy (born March 22, 1958) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, vocalist and musician, producer-engineer based in Whitby, Ontario. He has been the lead singer of Canadian group Lighthouse since 1992. Additionally, he is the founder and owner of the Collective Music Group which includes the divisions of Collective Records as an independent record label since 2000, the digital recording facility Collective Studios since 2006, Collective Music Academy since 2006, Collective Media since 2002, and the Collective Music Foundation for providing instruments, lessons and music opportunities for those less fortunate in Durham Region since 2012. An active member of ACTRA since 1988, Clancy has sung on numerous television and radio commercials throughout Canada and the United States. When not touring with Lighthouse, he performs as a solo artist as well as with The Dan Clancy Band, The 905 Band, The Bluesual Suspects Orchestra and the League of Rock All-Stars.
