Deron Williams Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018

Along with the Nets, he’s played for the Utah Jazz and Beikta of the Turkish Basketball League. He’s a three-time All Star and was a gold medal winner at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Williams played college basketball in the University of Illinois.

His contract permitted him to come back to the NBA with all the Nets after the work stoppage finished. Beikta was the same team that signed Allen Iverson in 2010. Because Williams was still under an NBA contract, he needed clearance from FIBA to be able to play elsewhere. On November 22, 2011, Williams scored 50 points against Gttingen, during a Euro Challenge first group stage match. Following a tentative deal to finish the 2011 NBA lockout was reached, Williams’ jersey #8 was retired by Beikta in a good-bye service prior to a match against Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden on November 29, 2011. Following the lockout ended, Williams returned to New Jersey, expecting to lead the Nets to the playoffs for the very first time since 2007. The Nets caught a poor break in the preseason, however, as Brook Lopez suffered a broken foot that caused him to miss over 2 months. After winning their opening match at Washington, the Nets went to lose their next six, placing them within an early hole in the standings in a abbreviated season. The Nets continued to fight without Lopez, but Williams played well enough to be voted into the All Star match for the 3rd time in his career, as he averaged over 22 points and 8 assists in the rest.
