Max Croiset was born on August 13, 1912 in Blaricum, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. He was an actor, known for Village by the River (1958), Vroeger is dood (1987) and A Dog of Flanders (1959). He was married to Jeanne Verstraete. He died on April 7, 1993 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands.
Won the Louis d'Or (the Dutch equivalent for the Tony Award for best actor) in 1966. He refused the honor. Both his sons, Hans Croiset and Jules Croiset won a Louis d'Or too. They both accepted.
