Peter Thomas is an American announcer narrator of television programs, including shows such as Nova and more recently Forensic Files and Mystery Detectives. He has been a narrator for over fifty years.
His voice is heard as the digitized voice for Philips' HeartStart series of automated external defibrillator (AED) units used by emergency services nationwide.

On August 11, 2007, the annual reunion of the First Infantry Division, US Army, honored him for his contributions to the commemoration of the Allied Forces landing at Normandy on June 6, 1944.
He and his wife, Stella, live in Naples, Florida and works from his home.
