The group have sold over 45 million records worldwide and have sold 15 million records in America alone. On April 26, 2007, Rockett declared the development of “Rockett Drum Works Inc”. This is a drum manufacturing company, specializing in the development of ultra custom drum kits, snare drums and custom accessories. Before setting up his business, Rockett worked for Chop Shop Custom Drum. He departed after contradictory views with Chop Shop creator Brian Cocivera. Rockett recruited most of the staff from Chop Shop as well as some newer staff members. In combination with all the 30th anniversary of Star Wars in May 2007, Rockett discussed his lifelong love of the show during an interview with Maul Stanley. Rockett wore a Star Wars patch on his vest in Poison’s “Fallen Angel” music video and he explained that his favourite character is C3PO.
