1There isn't a single business where anybody feels secure.
2I did sing in another film called 'Empire Records' which is a cult film. 'Grease 2' is also a cult film. You either love it or just think the original was better.
3Not disown my past or upbringing, but I'd admired American actors, really American movie star - particularly the rebel heroes of the '50s.
4I didn't want to be a hero to kids; I didn't think I had that. I just wanted to be popular.
5I am beyond thrilled to be hitting the road with 'Singin' in the Rain.' As a huge fan of the original movie, the chance to bring this story to life on stage is something I couldn't pass up, and it'll be great visiting some of the beautiful theatres on the tour; some I've been to previously; some are going to be a brand new experience for me.
6I'm always playing these mendacious characters who end up hoisting themselves by their own petard.
7You can work and scratch out a living in the theatre, but, if you want to make money, you've got to hit the road. You've got to play big houses of 2, 3 thousand seaters with your name above the bill, do popular fare and reach out to the audience such as it is.
8Before Grease 2, I was called the next Richard Gere, then after Grease 2, nobody would touch me.
1His acting mentor was the late Charlton Heston.
2Briefly attended Drama Centre London.
3Currently starring in "Emmerdale" as Mr Wylde in the UK. [January 2009]
4Son-in-law of John Mills and Mary Hayley Bell. Brother-in-law of Hayley Mills.
5He starred alongside both Charlie Sheen in The Boys Next Door (1985) and Martin Sheen in Gettysburg (1993).
6Has starred in two movies with Christopher McDonald, Grease 2 (1982) and The Boys Next Door (1985).
7Uncle of Crispian Mills, the lead singer of indie band Kula Shaker and son of Hayley Mills.
8Has worked with Kung Fu (1972) actor David Carradine three times, in Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat (1989), Waxwork II: Lost in Time (1992) and Animal Instincts (1992).
9Step-father of Sean Alquist (wife Juliet Mills's son from a former marriage).
10His U.S. stepfather was a Parris Island Marine instructor. He kicked Caulfield out of the house at the age of 15, leaving the young man to make his living on his own.
11There is an eighteen year age difference between Caulfield and his wife, Juliet Mills, who was born in 1941.
12Initially made a name for himself by his totally nude appearances on the New York stage. He once played completely uncovered for forty minutes with Academy Award winning actress Jessica Tandy.
13Started out as a "Go Go" dancer in clubs.
14Stepfather of actress Melissa Caulfield.
15Listed as one of twelve "Promising New Actors of 1985" in John Willis' Screen World, Vol. 37.
16His brother, musician Marcus Maclaine, was romantically linked to Hayley Mills, sister of Maxwell's wife Juliet Mills.
