His stage surname (LeVox) literally means “The Voice”, a name he lifted in the studio-games console label because of his lead-sung track. LeVox was born in Columbus, Ohio. Prompted by his cousin, LeVox moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1997. LeVox and his second cousin, Jay DeMarcus, started out together in Chely Wright’s group. One day, when the frequent guitarist had not been accessible, Joe Don Rooney stepped in. The three guys say they felt the chemistry instantly.
LeVox’s parents divorced when he was eight. His mom remarried when he was 10 and divorced his stepfather when he was 18. His wife’s name is Tara, and they wed on May 15, 1999. They got two daughters, produced in 2000 and 2004. LeVox has been buddies with Jamie Foxx because the mid-1990s, and Foxx made a guest appearance on the record Still Feels Good.
