Salvatore Lucania Bio/Wiki, Net Worth, Married 2018
Charles "Lucky" Luciano (pronounced /lu?t????n?/; born Salvatore Lucania November 24, 1897 – January 26, 1962), was an Sicilian-born American mobster. Luciano is considered the father of modern organized crime in the United States for splitting New York City into five different Mafia crime families and the establishment of the first Commission. He was the first official boss of the modern Genovese crime family. He was, along with his associate Meyer Lansky, instrumental in the development of the National Crime Syndicate in the United States. Luciano is considered by many to have been the most powerful American Mafia boss of all time.
On the day he died he was supposed to meet a film producer to discuss making a movie about his life. He had already had such a discussion previously with Dean Martin about making a movie where Frank Sinatra would play Luciano and Martin would also star (though it's unclear what role Martin would've played).

After being deported from the United States, he bought a pet chihuahua and named it "Bambi", after the Disney movie, Bambi (1942), as a reminder of America.
