Emma Catherine Crosby (born 5 June 1977), is a British television newsreader and journalist, currently acting as the main anchor for 5 News on Channel 5 every weekday.Between 2003 and 2007, Crosby worked on Sky News co-presenting their Breakfast programme Sunrise. She joined the programme in 2003, where she was a co-host of the weekday editions until 2005, when she began co-hosting the weekend editions. She left Sky News in 2007, after which she worked with the BBC, hosting a number of their News programmes.In 2009, Emma joined ITV to co-present GMTV, which she hosted until the show was replaced by Daybreak the following year in 2010. She co-hosted GMTV with Andrew Castle or Ben Shephard two or three days a week in rotation with Kate Garraway.Crosby then joined Channel 5 in 2011, where she is currently working as their chief anchor on 5 News. She also presented the channel's NewsTalk Live programme between 2013 and 2014.
