Edward Carlton Crosby (born May 26, 1949 in Long Beach, California) is a former utility infielder in Major League Baseball who played for the St. Louis Cardinals (1970, 1972–1973), Cincinnati Reds (1973) and Cleveland Indians (1974–1976). Crosby batted left-handed and threw right-handed. He is the father of current Major League shortstop Bobby Crosby.In a six-season career, Crosby posted a .220 batting average (149-for-677) with 67 runs and 44 RBI in 297 games played.
