Scott Dean Boras (created November 2, 1952) is an American sports agent, specializing in baseball. He’s the creator, owner and president of the Boras Corporation, a sports service located in Newport Beach, California that represents approximately 175 professional baseball customers, including most of the sport ‘s highest-profile players. Boras has brokered many record-setting contracts since 1982, and a number of his customers, including, Prince Fielder, Matt Holliday, Magglio Ordez, Alex Rodriguez (until 2010), Stephen Strasburg, Jayson Werth and Barry Zito, are on the list of best paid in the match.
By 1980, he’d determined his calling was as a baseball representative.
