Sister Helen Prejean, C.S.J., (born April 21, 1939) is a controversial Roman Catholic nun, a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph and a leading American advocate for the abolition of the death penalty. According to her theory, even rapists, serial killers and terrorists have a right to live if they want and be free.
Officiated the wedding ceremony of Eva Amurri Martino and former pro soccer player Kyle Martino in Charleston, South Carolina. Amurri's mother, Susan Sarandon, played Prejean in "Dead Man Walking". [29 Obtober 2011].
