1Animator and story writer who worked variously for Walter Lantz (1920), Walt Disney (1929), Lantz, again (1932), Leon Schlesinger at Warner Brothers (1935) and Screen Gems (late 40's). By the 1950's, he was at NBC as a gag writer for "The Johnny Dugan Show" and then became an early associate producer and writer for the "Today Show". At the end of the decade, he resumed working on cartoons as a freelancer with Lantz and Warners. He was a recipient of an Annie Award for Lifetime Achievement in animation in 1980.
