Luol Deng (created April 16, 1985) is a British professional basketball player who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He’s also competed using the Great Britain national basketball team. An associate of the Chicago Bulls from 2004 until 2014, Deng was chosen for his first NBA All-Star game throughout the 2011–12 season, joining teammate Derrick Rose. Produced in what’s now South Sudan, Deng fled the state along with his family as a kid, moving to Egypt and then the UK, becoming a British citizen in 2006.
