Robert Kendall was born on June 26, 1927 in Stephenson, Michigan, USA. He was an actor, known for Casbah (1948), Ma Barker's Killer Brood (1960) and The Women of Pitcairn Island (1956). He died on November 12, 2009 in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Wrote the 1964 book "White Teacher in a Black School" based on the two years he taught in south central Los Angeles.

Won a "Hollywood at Your Door" screen test contest in Battle Creek. The contest ended up being a sham but Robert was spotted by a Universal talent agent while working at a Hollywood drive-in and eventually worked for Universal playing 'Sabu" film types in Eastern costumers.

Appeared in minor roles in a couple of Yvonne De Carlo 40s Technicolor adventures. Later befriended the actress and wrote a loving article about her in tribute after her passing in the May 2007 publication of "Classic Images" magazine. He also wrote about other famous leading ladies, including Alice Faye, in other film magazines.
