Mark Schwab was born on October 30, 1969 in San Jose, California, USA. He is a producer and director, known for The Last Time I Saw Soap (2010), The Davenport Vampire (2014) and Pins and Needles (2001).
In 2002 he first met his "Stygian", "The Last Time I Saw Soap" and "S.E.R.P." star Robert Sean Campbell as his high school film instructor. Robert quickly distinguished himself as one of his best students and they have continued working together since.

His frequent leading actor and film making partner Mark Balunis has appeared in nearly all of director Schwab's films going back to when they were both in high school.

Filmmaking techniques of choice for his classes: HD-24 Cameras, Macintosh iMac Computers and Macintosh Final Cut Pro and iMovie Editing Programs. His students make original documentaries and movies. He also hosts the LEMA film festival for his students at the end of May each year.

Got his real start directing films by convincing a big-name medical complex to allow him to produce a mini-documentary for their company, single-handedly beating out three large filmmaking agencies in the process. His crew was comprised of two people, counting himself.
