Olivia Hussey, born Olivia Osuna (17 April 1951), is an Argentinian actress who became famous for her role as Juliet in Franco Zeffirelli's Academy Award-winning 1968 film version of Romeo and Juliet, winning a Golden Globe and also the David di Donatello Award for best actress. She is also well known for her role as Mary, the mother of Jesus in the 1977 TV production of Jesus of Nazareth. She has starred in films such as Black Christmas (1974), Death on the Nile (1978), Virus (1980) and Turkey Shoot (1982).

Favorite horror movie is Psycho (1960). She would later go on to play Norma Bates in Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990).
Many of her more recent appearances have experienced significant delays in their releases. Tortilla Heaven (2007) was released in 2007 after completion in 2000. Seven Days of Grace (2006) was released on DVD in 2007 after it was completed in 1996. Chinaman's Chance: America's Other Slaves (2008) was completed in 2006 and released in 2008.
She was not legally able to attend the London premiere of Romeo and Juliet (1968) because she was under 18 and the film contained a nude scene -- even though she was the one who was nude.
Her father, Andreas Osuna, is a tango singer. She took her mother's maiden name, Hussey. Her parents divorced at the age of two.
