Mark Venturini (January 10, 1961 - February 14, 1996) was an American actor who starred in movies and appeared on television.He was perhaps best known for his role in movies like Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985) as Victor, and Return of the Living Dead as Suicide (1985). Mark's final movie was in the 1995 movie Out-of-Sync. He made guest appearances on television shows like Knight Rider, Charles in Charge, Murder, She Wrote, Falcon Crest, and Space Rangers. He died from leukemia at the age of 35.
Buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.

He played football when he was a student at West Leyden High School in Northlake, Illinois, a Chicago suburb close to O'Hare Airport.

Like many athletes at his high school, he took an English elective called "Sports in Literature," which was taught by the school's drama coach, Nancy Giovannoni. The students read novels with sports themes, like Brian's Song.

It was the drama coach at his high school, Nancy Giovannoni, who thought Mark had a natural talent for acting. She teased him into auditioning for the school play his senior year, and gave him the lead role, Hawkeye Pierce in "M*A*S*H." He was a big hit and quickly decided to pursue an acting career after graduation.
