Was one of the hosts of the legendary show "Video Music Box," one of the first television shows to feature hip-hop videos, along with Ralph McDaniels. "Video Music Box" aired on public television (WNYC) in New York from 1984 until 1995, when then-mayor Rudy Giuliani sold the station, which was the only television station in the United states owned by a city, to a private firm.
