Matthew Michael “Matt” Hasselbeck (created September 25, 1975) is an American football quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. Hasselbeck developed the starting role in 2003, and led Seattle to six playoff appearances along with a Super Bowl appearance; he was chosen to three Pro Bowls and an All Pro choice.
Following ten seasons with all the Seahawks, Hasselbeck joined the Tennessee Titans in 2011. Hasselbeck subsequently signed a contract together with the Indianapolis Colts in 2013 less than Twenty Four hours after being released by the Tennessee Titans.
Joined the Seattle Seahawks March 2, 2001, via trade with Green Bay. Seattle received Hasselbeck and the Packers' 2001 first-round draft choice (17th overall-Steve Hutchinson) in exchange for Seattle's 10th selection in the first round and a third-round choice.
