Marc Alaimo (born Michael Anthony Alaimo on May 5, 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an American actor, known for his villainous roles. He is best known for his role as recurring villain Gul Dukat in the TV series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Alaimo's voice is The Dean in "The Splendid Source".
Has played the very first Cardassian character ever seen in the Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) episode "The Wounded". His prominent neck inspired make-up artist Michael Westmore to give the Cardassians their familiar neck ridges.

Has played more distinct roles than anyone else on "Star Trek": two different humans, two different Cardassians, an Antican and a Romulan. Nicknamed "The Neck" by his fellow actors on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993).
