Template:Cleanup-biography Karen Glaser is an American photographer. Her work includes underwater photographs in Florida's springs and wetlands (swamps). After graduate school she worked as a printer in 1983. She learned to scuba dive and with an underwater Instamatic camera, she began photographing the springs of North and Central Florida. She captured wildlife photographs of manatees and other wildlife before shifting focus to the underwater landscapes. She continued her photography at the Big Cypress National Preserve and Everglades National Park. She lived in Chicago before moving to Florida. In 2014 her work is part of an exhibition on display until July 6 called "The Mark of Water: Florida's Springs and Swamps by Karen Glaser" at the Harn Museum of Art in Gainesville, Florida.
