#Quote
1I don't do what you people want. I Do What I Want!
#Fact
1In an ironic turn of fate, Kane was put on the shelf at Taboo Tuesday by Gene Snitsky by the same method he used to eliminate Shawn Michaels four months prior (folding a steel chair over his throat and jumping on it). The real reason for his departure is that Glenn Jacobs is filming a horror movie for a couple of months. [October 2004]
2At WrestleMania XX, he will face his "brother," the Undertaker in an interpromotional match. [March 2004]
3Working as pro wrestler "Kane" at World Wrestling Entertainment or better known as WWE. [January 2006]
4Lost to The Great Khali at Wrestlemania 23. [April 2007]
5Will defend the World Tag Team Championships with tag team partner Big Show (Paul Wight) against Carlito and Chris Masters. [March 2006]
6Feuding with Booker T on RAW. [January 2004]
7Now filming "The Goodnight Man," a thriller/horror movie. [December 2004]
8Kane still continues to be without the mask that he was known for wearing throughout his career. Since his unmasking, he has attacked numerous people for no reason (Rob Van Dam, Jim Ross, Linda McMahon) and because of this, he has been placed under house arrest. However, he can still report to RAW every week to compete, but he has been placed in shackles and escorted down to the ring by security personnel. Since SummerSlam, he tried to finally hunt down Shane McMahon for the threats Shane imposed to him. Kane set Shane up for an unbelievably shocking "inferno dumpster deathtrap" but Shane kicked him into the dumpster and we are still wondering how Kane faired from that supposed scorching. [August 2003]
9Faced Chris Benoit at Bad Blood 2004, but lost when Benoit rolled up Kane for the win after Kane escaped from Benoit's Crippler Crossface. [June 2004]
10Lost to the Undertaker at WrestleMania XX when the Undertaker hit Kane with the Tombstone Piledriver. [March 2004]
11Is now on SmackDown teaming up with his 'brother' The Undertaker as The Brothers Of Destruction. (B.O.D.) [March 2007]
12Will take part in the Road to Wrestlemania tournament to decide the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. [February 2006]
13Returned to the WWE on the October 17th edition of RAW. He participated in the 18-Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal main event, and won, earning a shot on the WWE Taboo Tuesday main event ballot. Fans will vote on who they want to see in the triple threat main event with John Cena and Kurt Angle, for the WWE Championship, at the Pay-Per-View. The choices are: The Big Show, Shawn Michaels, or Kane. [October 2005]
14Won the pre-show Battle Royal at WrestleMania 24 and went on to win the ECW World Championship title that same night. [March 2008]
15On April 3 2005 (WrestleMania 21) will compete in the "Money in the Bank Ladder Match" against Edge, Chris Benoit, Shelton Benjamin, Christian and Chris Jericho [April 2005]
16Returning to Raw in December or January, continuing his feud with Gene Snitsky, who "accidentally" broke his neck and gave him a leave of absence (which was really a leave from the ring to film his movie "The Goodnight Man.") This was announced on December 13th by Kane's "wife", Lita. [January 2005]
17Married Lita on the August 23rd episode of RAW. [August 2004]
18Beat Matt Hardy in a 'Till Death Do Us Part' match at SummerSlam, when he Chokeslammed Matt who was on the second rope. Now Kane can "marry" the mother of his "child", Lita. [August 2004]
19Will compete in the Royal Rumble match at the 2006 Royal Rumble. [January 2006]
20May have broken his back as a result of The Big Show Superplexing him on the 24th edition of Raw. It is not clear whether he will return to action. [October 2005]
21Feuding with World Heavyweight champion Goldberg [December 2003]
22Was recently beat out of the Road To Wrestlemania Tournament by Chris Masters. [February 2006]
23Feuding with Gene Snitsky, after Snitsky hit Kane with a chair that caused him to knock over his "wife" Lita, thus losing their "baby". [October 2004]
24At Taboo Tuesday, Kane and Big Show defeated Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch to be come new World Tag Team Champions. [November 2005]
25Is out of action with a shoulder injury. [September 2005]
26Set to face Shawn Michaels, the man who Kane put on the shelf back in June (story wise), at WWE Unforgiven. [September 2004]
27Competed in the first ever "First Blood" match (won), The first "Elimination chamber match", first ever "Money in the Bank" match, first ever "Inferno" match and debuted at the first "hell in a Cell" match.
28The first wrestler to become WWE champion,World champion and ECW champion (under the WWE banner).
29The third ever "grand slam" Champion, behind Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Capturing the WWF tile (top tier), Intercontinental title(second tier), Hardcore title (third tier) and WWF tag titles. The hardcore title is considered a third tier title after the retirement of the European championship.
30Is into Politics and a part of the Free State Project.
31Won the WWE Tag Team Championships with Big Show before the titles ceased existing.
32Ended Chavo Guerrero's ECW title reign at WrestleMania XXIV. The match became the shortest in WrestleMania history.
33At WrestleMania X-Seven he won the Hardcore title in a Triple Threat match including Raven and Big Show.
3412 years after becoming the WWF Champion, Kane won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2010, defeating Rey Mysterio for it. He earned the Title shot earlier in the night with the Money in the Bank Ladder match.
35As Doomsday he won the United States Wrestling Association Heavyweight title in 1997.
36For a short period he wrestled in WCW as Bruiser Mastino. He once competed against Sting on WCW Saturday Night.
37His stage name is partly taken from the Biblical character Cain. As the story goes, Cain killed his brother Abel, committing the first ever murder. Coincidentally, his character's stepbrother was called Kane the Undertaker when he debuted in the WWF.
38He and Vince McMahon were the only WWE employees who were completely behind the idea of Kane removing his mask.
39While playing his character Kane, he found his mask limited his ability as a performer, as he had to emote solely through body language. Once he unmasked, he was able to emote more freely with facial expressions, as well.
40His dark character stage name is loosely from "Batman" (a.k.a. The Dark Knight) creator Bob Kane.
41Kane is nine times World tag team champion.
42Is a former third grade teacher.
43At WrestleMania 22, he successfully defended the World Tag Team Championships with his tag team partner the Big Show, against Carlito and Chris Masters.
44With his on-screen brother's undefeated winning streak at WrestleMania, Kane is one of three opponents whom Undertaker has beaten more than once at the pay-per-view show, along with Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Kane was defeated at WrestleMania XIV and at WrestleMania XX, six years later.
45Kane became a 9 time World Tag Team Champion, this time with the Big Show, by defeating Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch on Nov. 1, 2005 at Taboo Tuesday.
46The extremely noticeable scars on the back of his head came from the infamous RAW steel cage match when his head got slammed by the cage door.
47Won the WCW Tag Team Championships with The Undertaker during the Invasion.
48Two-time Intercontinental Champion.
49Attended Truman State University (formerly Northeast Missouri State University).
50Has had feuds with The Undertaker for years under many different characters. Some matches, including his on-again, off-again feuds as Kane, The Undertaker's stepbrother, include a Survivor Series match where The Royals (Jerry Lawler, King Mabel, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Isaac Yankem) took on The Darkside (The Undertaker, Savio Vega, Fatu and Henry O. Godwinn). As well as many cross over WWF/USWA matches between The Undertaker and Unibomb.
51Wrestled in the USWA under the name Unibomb. This is where he met WWF wrestler/annoucer Jerry Lawler who would bring him to the WWF as Lawler's lunatic dentist, Issac Yankem DDS.
52As the character Unibomb, won USWA Tag Team Titles with Al Snow.
53His "inverted colors" outfit was inspired by the video game, WWF War Zone. The game featured an inverted outfit for his alter ego due to lack of variety in his costumes at the time.
54Competed at WrestleMania 2000 with a broken left hand.
55Although he held the title for only 24 hours, the shortest WWF Title reign record belongs to André the Giant, who defeated Hulk Hogan for the belt on The Main Event NBC special, then tried selling it to Ted DiBiase seconds later. André was stripped of the Title by WWF President Jack Tunney, the transaction was declared void and the Title became vacant.
56Buried his "brother," the Undertaker, at Survivor Series 2003.
57Was forced to unmask on the June 23, 2003 episode of WWE RAW as part of a stipulation in his "mask vs. belt" match against World Heavyweight Champion Triple H (Paul Levesque), therefore exposing his "burnt" face to the world. His supposedly physical scars only turned out to be mental.
58Was not (despite somewhat popular belief) the "other" Undertaker in the infamous "The Undertaker Vs. The Undertaker" angle. That Undertaker was actually Brian Harris aka ('Prime Time' Brian Lee).
59Now wears an elbow pad on his left arm because of the damage it has taken over the years.
60Prints out his name as his autograph rather than writing in cursive.
61Is not really related to his on-screen brother, The Undertaker, in real life.
62Has such a hard time using the "Tombstone Piledriver" because of damage on his knees that he no longer uses it as his finisher.
63Has improved (dramatically) his Chokeslam so much over the years that it became his finisher.
64Character, Kane, used to talk through an external voice box.
65Showed more and more skin with each costume change even though his character was supposed to be burned.
66Had his head busted open during a RAW steel cage match with HHH. He became very dizzy but had to continue the match because "Kane is supposed to be invincible."
67Had a March 2002 appearance on a special WWF edition of "The Weakest Link" in which he ended up as the strongest link by defeating wrestler, Bubba Ray Dudley, in the final round. His winnings were donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
68Has 2 children.
69His "brother" The Undertaker has been cited working out at his gym by many people. Sevierville is also the home of former Tag champ Mark Canterbury aka Henry Godwinn.
70Formerly owned a gym called Family Fitness in Sevierville, Tennessee, and has permanent residence in Knoxville, Tennessee.
71Also wrestled as Dr. Isaac Yankem DDS and the fake "Diesel" in the WWF, before becoming Kane.
72Former World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion
739 time WWF/E Tag Team/World Tag Team Champion (with Mankind (2), X-Pac (2), The Undertaker (2), The Hurricane, Rob Van Dam and Big Show).
