Heinz Welzel was born on May 30, 1911 in Berlin, Germany. He was an actor, known for The Valley of Death (1968), Battle Squadron Lützow (1941) and D III 88: The New German Air Force Attacks (1939). He died on March 26, 2002 in Berlin.
German supporting actor in Ufa productions of the 1930's and 40's, usually in military roles. He was trained for acting in 1932 under Gisela von Collande and at the Max Reinhardt acting school in Berlin, the same year making his stage debut. From the 1950's, he worked primarily in the theatre, for radio and as synchronising voice for actors Leif Erickson, George Nader, Arthur O'Connell and William Windom.
