Dorso is a thrash metal band from Chile's long history and prestige. Among his musical influences include Gong, King Crimson, Genesis, Magma, and Frank Zappa. Regarding thematic stories inspired by Lovecraft, horror movies and whatever story you can imagine bizarre, monstrous allegories, using black humor and allusions to witchcraft. Most of their lyrics are composed in Castilian language, but is often used as a resource Spanglish lyrics. Since its inception the musical theme has varied speed/thrash metal in the 1980s and including progressive rhythms, grindcore, jazz and the use of recordings from classic horror films.
