Deborah Theaker (born April 6, 1964) is a Canadian actress.Theaker is best known as Casey Edison on the Lucasfilm science fiction satire Maniac Mansion which ran from 1990 until 1993. In 1985, Theaker graduated from the University of Saskatchewan and later moved to Toronto, where she became a member of The Second City's resident company. Since 1987, She has played roles in various television shows and movies, including The Kids in the Hall, Joey, Desperate Housewives, Entourage, Bones, and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events as well as the Stargate SG-1 season-eight episode entitled "Citizen Joe." She is a member of Christopher Guest's cinematic repertory company and has appeared in four films and multiple commercials for director Guest. Theaker guest starred in the third season of the acclaimed sitcom Husbands.She was married to Darren Boyce (divorced December 15, 1995).
Supported herself by working as an assistant to Interior Designer, Thomas Schoos, when she first emigrated from Canada in the 1990's.

When The Kids in the Hall (1988)'s Bruce McCulloch & Mark McKinney were hired by SNL, Deb performed with the other Kids in the parts Bruce & Mark usually played on stage at the Rivoli in Toronto for over a year.

She appears on film in the audience reacting to the show within the show in three films: A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), A Mighty Wind (2003), and Waiting for Guffman (1996). in all three films she is seated in the right-hand side of the audience.

During her last performance with the Second City, the rest of the cast left her on stage alone and Scott Thompson (_Kids In The Hall_), staple-gunned the curtains shut.
