Blair Tindall was born on February 2, 1960 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. She is known for her work on Malcolm X (1992), Mozart in the Jungle (2014) and Crooklyn (1994). She was previously married to Bill Nye.
Attended the North Carolina School of the Arts from 1975 to 1978. She spent 21 years as a professional musician in New York City, playing with the New York Philharmonic, presenting a solo debut at Carnegie Hall, and earning a jazz Grammy nomination.
