I am able to hear Smokey now, “Yo Chris Tucker man, where yo cash at? The performer is the son of Mary Louise and Norris. Tucker’s dad owned a janitorial service. He could be good buddies with Rush Hour co star Jackie Chan and president Bill Clinton Tucker was also good friends together with the late Michael Jackson. The performer has even traveled abroad with Bill Clinton. Additionally Tucker was part of a 2006 PBS documentary tracking the genetic DNA tradition of African Americans. Tucker was discovered to possess African, European, and Native American roots in his genetic make-up.
Though he’s best called a direct-up movie star rather than someone who ever needed to pay dues on the little display, Tucker got his start on Def Comedy Jam and said he’ll always do stand-up, even though his acting career takes off. “Stand up is my life.” He also says the key to stand up is treating it like golf and practicing at least 3 times weekly or maybe more. Tucker made his advent on House Party 3 only 3 years after moving to Hollywood. Yet two years after the comic got his big break in Ice Cube’s break out classic Friday. Tucker played the motor mouth sidekick Smokey with lots of pizazz and energy. It had been noted that his on screen fashion was quite distinctive from his standup fashion. Tucker went on to star in Dead Presidents the exact same year that Friday came out. In 1997 Tucker was in three films including Fifth Part, Money Talks, and Jackie Brown. Tucker became the highest paid performer in Hollywood to get a brief interval when he signed a deal for $45 million to do the Rush Hour-sequels.
Tucker splits his time between Bel Air, La, and Atlanta yet though he was once the highest paid performer in Hollywood a turn of events has got the star in a little bind fiscally for now. The house had 5 en-suite bedrooms, 2 additional bathrooms, a walk in pantry, a 3-oven kitchen, a pool, fountains, as well as a hot tub all on scenic rolling hills. For Friday the performer was paid $15,000 and for Dead Presidents he was paid $25,000. Nevertheless, paydays for all three Rush Hour films totaled $45 million.

Traveling - even to Los Angeles - it was big... When I went out there with my country accent, people would laugh at the way I talk. They'd be like, "Say 'orange' again." I'd be like, "'Orange.' What?" Now, going around the world, it's such a great experience, I feel so blessed, because I get to see the world. I get a broad perspective of the world, and we've got so much here in America - and in Africa, there are places with no clean water, places with no schools, no hospitals. That really took me by surprise - well, educated me a lot. I would say in the last six years I've been doing a lot of educating myself about what's been going on in the world... Yeah, I just enjoy traveling, because that's how I educate myself, and there's nothing better than traveling to a place [to learn] about it.

I tell people that stand-up's like golf: you gotta do it every day to get it down - or at least three times a week to get it down.
3
I think real life reflects your movies. In your life, you pick stuff that influences what movie roles you wanna pick. I think if you've got an interesting life, you wanna do interesting movies about interesting things.
4
I will always do stand-up, even if my acting career takes off. Stand-up is my life.
5
When you're first starting out, you want to keep making good movies. When you're young and you're black, you do a bad movie and you're through.
