Bob Kelly "Bobby" Abreu (/??bre?.u?/; Spanish: [bo? a???eu]; born March 11, 1974), nicknamed "El Comedulce" and also "La Leche", is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has played in MLB for the Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Los Angeles Dodgers.Abreu is a two-time All-Star, and has won a Rawlings Gold Glove Award and a Silver Slugger Award. He has been a single-season league leader in games played (twice), doubles, and triples. Through 2013, he led active ballplayers in doubles (565), walks (1,456), and outfield assists (136), was third in runs scored (1,441) and on-base percentage (.396), fourth in extra base hits (911), fifth in stolen bases (399), and sixth runs batted in (1,349).
