Taylor became Mississippi's first female television sportscaster when hired by WDAM-TV (an NBC affiliate) in Laurel-Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She has also worked in media relations, public relations, video productions, advertising, marketing, and as a communications consultant.Taylor has spent nearly 40 years in the communications profession.
