Anton Viktorovich Yelchin (Russian: ; produced March 11, 1989) is an American movie and television celebrity. He started performing in the late 1990s, appearing in several television characters as well as the Hollywood movies “Along Came a Spider” and “Hearts in Atlantis” (both 2001). Yelchin’s character as Jacob Clarke in the Steven Spielberg miniseries “Taken” was essential in furthering his career as a kid performer.
In the movie he played Zack Mazursky, a character according to real life kidnap and murder victim Nicholas Markowitz. USA Today’s review described the operation as “heartbreakingly endearing”. Following the premier, Markowitz’s mom commended his portrayal of her son. Yelchin later headlined Fierce People, a play which received a limited release on September 7 of this year and costarred Diane Lane and Donald Sutherland. In 2008 Yelchin played the title role in Charlie Bartlett, a movie of a rich teen in a public high school. He next starred in two May 2009 launches: the eleventh Star Trek movie, where he impersonated 17-year old navigator Pavel Chekov, and Terminator Salvation, where he was cast as a teen Kyle Reese.
