Anna Montanaro (born November 2, 1973 in Gifhorn) is a German actress. She is one of Germany's most famous musical performers. After Hildegard Knef and Ute Lemper she made it as the third German artist to play in a leading role on Broadway.
Got offered the part of Katalin Helinszki/The Hunyak in the Oscar-winning movie "Chicago", while playing the role of Velma Kelly on Broadway, but decided to turn it down to be able to play Velma Kelly in the German production of "Chicago".
