David York (born 13 April 1941) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Shropshire. He was born in Quatt, Shropshire.York, who made his debut in the Minor Counties Championship in 1961, made his only List A appearance in the 1974 Gillette Cup, against Essex. From the tailend, he scored just a single run, as the team were all out for just 41 runs.York bowled 12 overs in the match, taking figures of 1-34. He continued to represent Shropshire until 1976.
