Template:Multiple issues Margie Gillis, Template:Post-nominals (born July 9, 1953) is a Canadian solo dancer and choreographer, whose most commonly known dance style is modern.A modern-dance artist, dancer and choreographer, Gillis has been creating original works for over thirty-five years. Her repertoire includes more than one hundred pieces, which she performs as solos and nearly a dozen duets, and group pieces.
[observation, 2013] I am definitely a mature artist now, and certainly the peak of my physical prowess is gone. That's wonderfully fine with me. I used it well. I enjoyed every minute of it and I pushed it to the limits. What I am doing now is exploring the body as it ages, which is thrilling to me.
